The Secretary of Public Education, Mario Delgado Carrillo, highlighted that with the two Collaboration Agreements signed by the Federal Educational Authority in Mexico City (AEFCM) with the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana (UAM) Unidad Xochimilco and Universidad Anáhuac México, the professionalization of teachers will be strengthened, as well as expanding the alternatives for continuous training within the framework of the New Mexican School (NEM), promoted by President Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo.
These agreements, he said, reaffirm the commitment of the Government of Mexico to transformative, critical and deeply human public education.

He emphasized that aesthetic experience, play and training in values constitute fundamental pillars of learning that seeks to form free, supportive and fulfilled people.
“I am sure that these collaborations will allow us to move forward with greater clarity, sensitivity and professionalism in addressing the contemporary challenges of education,” said Concheiro Bórquez.
