Sheinbaum also highlighted the restructuring of Infonavit credits, which will benefit five million families with debts considered unpayable, and the expansion of home medical visits for older adults as part of the preventive health strategy.

In educational matters, he reiterated the construction of 300 new high schools and the expansion of public universities; while in housing he defended the goal of building one million 200 thousand homes for people with low incomes.

During his visit, he delivered homes to families in Playa del Carmen and pointed out that these programs are possible thanks to the fight against corruption and the austere administration of the federal government.

Before concluding her speech, the president called on citizens to participate in the rally that will take place on December 6 in the capital’s Zócalo, where the seven years of the transformation that began in 2018 will be celebrated.

“I take advantage, I know it is far away, but on Saturday the 6th we are going to celebrate seven years of transformation of public life in Mexico in the Zócalo. I want to thank you and we are going to continue fulfilling, because that is our mandate. Our mandate is to be a government of the people, by the people and for the people of Mexico. We do not lie, we do not steal and we will never betray the people of Quintana Roo or the people of Mexico,” he said.

During the event, the president led the delivery of homes from the Housing for Wellbeing Program in the Edén Bienestar Housing Unit.
