The Government Office of Information and Communication Technologies (OGTIC), with the support of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Technology (MESCyT) and the Technological Institute of the Americas (ITLA), awarded more than 180 scholarships to the 65 young people who participated in different programs held at Dominicana Innova 2025.
The general director of the OGTIC, Edgar Batista, reported that 10 national scholarships were awarded, endorsed by the MESCyT, for the first and second place winners of Desenlace, valid for universities that participate in the institution’s 2026 call.
The third place winning team received an Amazon scholarship aimed at training and certifications in cloud computing, and development of digital solutions, for employability in high-demand sectors. The participants benefited from scholarships from ITLA, Amazon and Oracle.
