Icetex opens registration in December for postgraduate credits for the next semester

This phase coincides with the closing of undergraduate registrations, scheduled for December 2 and is part of the tiered scheme designed to review applications at different times in the calendar.

The enabled period allows you to apply for financing for specializations, master’s degrees and doctorates both inside and outside the country.

The entity reported that requests must be made directly through its official channels and without intermediariesremembering that the procedures have no cost.

He also reiterated the call to report cases of people who offer to manage credits in an unauthorized manner, through the email provided for complaints.

Regarding financing conditions, postgraduate programs contemplate a payment scheme in which the 40% of the credit is canceled during studies and 60% remaining at the end of the program.

For specializations in Medicine, the model is different: students pay the 20% during study time and 80% after graduating.

For those who plan to study outside the country, there are long-term credit options from up to $25,000with payment after completion of the academic program.

The so-called Plan for well-being outside Colombia is also enabled, which offers resources to sustain up to $12,500 for studies abroad, also with reimbursement once the training is completed.

The platform enabled for the call brings together the information and registration forms, as well as the conditions and requirements for each type of credit.

In accordance with the provisions, the approval of the requests will depend on the compliance with the required criteria and of the budget availability for the period 2026-1.

In the coming weeks, other stages related to work education, human development and continuing education programs will open.

These processes will include diplomas, certifications and language courses, the details of which will be announced through official information channels as the call schedule progresses.
