Cicpc agents rescued two victims of a human trafficking network that operated in Valencia (Carabobo) and arrested two women, who were dedicated to recruiting girls, young people and adults, in order to be exploited.
According to the report published by the Cicpc, the detainees are Bárbara Alejandra Contreras Díaz (18) and Willianni Daniela Salón Durán (18), who were in charge of capturing the victims through deception and offers of large sums of money in exchange for carrying out various tasks; However, once in their possession, they were subjected to exploitation in hotels, warehouses and clandestine parties, receiving a percentage of money according to the service to which they were forced.
One of the rescued victims is the cousin of one of the detainees and the latter, under deception, paid for her transfer from Trujillo state to Carabobo territory, forcing her to carry out these tasks that put her physical and emotional integrity at risk. Two people remain to be arrested, so the course of the investigations continues, the Cicpc stated.
