Thousands of teachers across the country have been affected by the non-payment for the month of October, as explained by the magisterium, the subject will obey a technical failure, however, the teachers assure that they will go to cessation of activities.
Valley
The Teachers Union in Valle del Cauca do this wednesday assemblies with its affiliatess throughout the Department, as part of the “Charge” operation, for non-payment of their salaries.
For this Thursday, informative activities are planned in this regard with students and a sit-in in Cali, in the square of the Gobernación del Valle.
Likewise, the Valle del Cauca magisterium expect zero hours of class from this Thursday, until all teachers’ salaries are canceled.
Risaralda
From 10 in the morning of this Thursday the teachers assigned to the education secretariats of the certified and non-certified municipalities of the department, They will meet at the headquarters of the mayors of Pereira and Dosquebradas and in the Government of Risaralda, to demand the payment of the salary of the teaching staff corresponding to the month of October.
Carlos Mosquera, Social Security Secretary of the Risaralda Educators Union, pointed out that non-payment is not a new issue in the country, on account of an alleged failure in the systems, since since the middle of this year the same situation has been occurring month after month, a situation that they describe as unheard of, and therefore, the need for these seedlings to demand a definitive solution.

Tolima
Faced with non-compliance with the payment of the salary for the month of October, teachers, educational directors and administrative workers of education in the 47 municipalities of Tolima will start the so-called ‘collection operation’.
The purpose is to require the Ministry of Education to fix the flaws in your information systems and make the payment.
In this sense, public servants will work part-time and then they will hold informative assemblies in the institutions. According to the Union of Teachers of Tolima (Simatol) in the department there are about 13,000 workers affected.
Antioquia
Due to difficulties in the platform of the Ministry of Education, 30 thousand teachers in the department are owed their October salary, according to the Association of Institutes of Antioquia (Adida).
The delays affect teachers in the region, except those in the municipality of Bello, who are up to date. For this reason, the teachers announced measures such as the cessation of activities and mobilizations in the Center of Medellín if the delay persists.
In a statement, Adida announced that this Wednesday the teachers will arrive at the institutions, but there will be a cessation of activities until the payment is verified. For Thursday and Friday, they scheduled “to block the Avenida Oriental at 11 in the morning.” If the delay persists, on Monday there will be a concentration on Calle San Juan near La Alpujarra.

Atlantic
According to the Barranquilla Educators Association (Adeba), the delay in payments to teachers would be in retaliation for the mobilizations recently carried out by the teaching profession, since this situation had not occurred for more than four years.
José Jiménez, president of the group, indicated that so far there is no suspension of classes in the capital of the Atlantic, since they will wait for a response on the situation during this Wednesday. “If not, we will be attentive to the indications of Fecode to take the actions that are agreed ”, he said.
Quindio
Faced with the non-payment of the payroll for the month of October, from the Single Union of Education Workers in Quindío they are summoning the teachers to a sit-in in front of the government building, where they will demand that this disbursement be made and other commitments of the National Government are fulfilled, which they warn, have not come true.
