In a merchant ship from Ecuador, they intended to transport to Europe 14 briefcases containing 498 packages of illicit substances inside, these were seized by personnel from the National Aeronaval Service (Senan).

The Senan reported that the ship was in transit through Panama and came, specifically from Puerto Pasorja, in Ecuador, with final destination the European continent.

They highlighted that this was a joint operation with the Public Ministry, through the Drug Prosecutor’s Office and the Panamanian Air and Naval Operations Center.

At a press conference, Senan highlighted that they have carried out 23 operations and seized 17,828 packages of illicit substances so far in 2022.
