The Human Rights Committee of Vente Venezuela stated that more than 36 hours after the arrest of Dilia Castillo, Brayant Orozco and Carolina Briceño, there is still no information about their whereabouts.
Yessy Orozco warned about the delicate health situation of her mother Dilia Castillo, detained this Wednesday, November 26, along with other relatives of the leader Fernando Orozco.
Castillo is 62 years old and, as indicated by his daughter, suffers from serious heart conditions and requires specialized medical treatment.
«Dilia Margarita Castillo Jimenez is an older adult who suffers from serious pre-existing heart conditions, a condition that has been exacerbated by prison conditions and the lack of specialized and timely medical care. His life is at imminent and documented risk, a situation that, in itself, constitutes cruel and inhuman treatment,” Orozco said in a letter sent to national and international human rights defenders on November 27.
Castillo’s daughter denounced the violation of the human rights of her mother, who is retired from the National Assembly, and so far they do not know what they are accusing her of.

The arrest and forced disappearance of part of the family of leader Fernando Orozco, who is in hiding, was denounced this Wednesday the 26th by the Voluntad Popular party.
According to the complaint, Brayant Orozco, son of the leader, his wife, Dilia, and an ex-partner named Carolina were detained in Charallave, Miranda state.
