The most critical case was that of “Comercial Leo”, where inspectors found rodent excrement in the warehouse area. The premises intervened were “Comercial Leo”, “Lucecita”, “Liam Gabrielito” and another without a commercial name.

Given these infractions, the commune imposed fines of S/ 5,350 on each establishment, equivalent to 100% of the UIT. Control actions are intensified due to the high demand for packaged products during the end-of-year holidays.
“We are verifying that the products have a guarantee and are in adequate conditions,” said the head of Bromatology, Eng. Jesús Vila Retamozo, who announced that the inspections will continue.
