Argentine Airlines announced an investment of more than 65 million dollars that it will use to renew its fleet and incorporate 18 new aircraft under leasing, among other projects.
“The objective is to modernize the fleet, improve the travel experience of its passengers and consolidate its profitability and positioning strategy in the domestic and international market,” the company reported in a statement.
The above, he said, is part of his first investment plan financed with his own funds, with which he plans to incorporate four Airbus A330neo and 14 others Boeing 737 MAX -two MAX8four MAX9 and eight MAX10—, which will increase profitability on high-demand routes within the country and in destinations in the region.

The state airline announced that the first phase is scheduled to enter into operation in 2027. In a second stage, the installation of Wi-Fi connectivity is planned throughout the fleet.
The new aircraft will operate under operational leasing, a financial instrument with which the fleet can be modernized without affecting financial solidity.

As reported by the airline, 2025 will be the first year in which Aerolíneas Argentinas will not receive contributions from the National Treasury, an unprecedented fact since the state recovery of the company. Between 2008 and 2023, the airline recorded average losses of $400 million per year, but managed to reverse that trend in 2024 with its first positive operating result (EBITDA) of $56.6 million.
Aerolíneas Argentinas currently has a fleet of 83 aircraft.
