Congress evaluates changes on non-working days
In parallel, the Congress of the Republic approved in the first vote the opinion of the Bill 4610/2022-CRwhich proposes that saturdays be considered compensable non-working days for public and private sector workers whose religious denomination establishes that day as a day of rest.
This proposal indicates that those who take advantage of the benefit must compensate for hours not worked within a period of 10 days or at the opportunity available to the public or private entity, according to its operational needs.
There are no official changes for Friday the 5th
Although December is usually a month with high tourist demand and internal travel, the Executive has not issued any regulations to extend the long holiday to Friday the 5th. Therefore, work activities for that date continue with normalunless there is a new official provision.
