A new and painful episode of gender violence has shaken the provinces Santiago Rodríguez and Valverdeafter a woman was found dead inside his residence, allegedly at the hands of his couple, who was later arrested by authorities after admit the fact before family members.
According to the police report, at approximately 12:00 midnight the authorities received the alert that a man had shown up at the residence of relatives in the municipality of Esperanza, province Valverdewhere he confessed that he had killed his concubine using a knife.
The victim was identified as Nataly Yolanda López, whose body was found inside the home he shared with the alleged aggressor, in the Mata del Jobo community, belonging to the province Santiago Rodríguez.
After receiving the information, units of the Preventive Police and the Investigation Department (Dicrim) of Santiago Rodríguez They coordinated with the person in charge of Investigations of the Esperanza municipality, who went to the scene, achieving the arrest of the alleged perpetrator, identified as, Adinson Emilio Reyes Goris34 years old.
