This Thursday the 27th, Congress will meet to set the date and time of the debate and vote on the constitutional complaints against Delia Espinoza, Pedro Castillo and Martin Vizcarra in the Plenary.
This was announced by the first vice president in charge of the Presidency of Congress, Fernando Rospigliosi, at the press conference where he provided more details of the procedure.
“I’m going to propose that it be Wednesday, December 3,” said the Fuerza Popular congressman, recalling that, the day before, the Permanent Commission had already approved the final reports.
It is worth highlighting that, regarding the former prosecutor of the Nation, Delia Espinozathere is constitutional complaint 528 and, against the former presidents, 547 (for the Peru Libre president) and 575 (for the PPK ‘vice’).
Regarding the magistrate and the two politicians, the request for disqualification demanded by Congress is 10 years, a sanction that is already fulfilled Martin Vizcarrabut not yet to the former president Pedro Castillo.
