Following the banking loss that has been affecting mobility on the Autopista-San Luis road, the authorities in Antioquia Interventions began in this important road corridor.
It was learned that officials from the Infrastructure Secretariat, the mayor of the municipality of San Luis, César Abad Buitrago Arias, and personnel from the audit office, visited the critical point located at km 1+000 of the Autopista-San Luis highway, where this situation occurs, affecting mobility.
According to the Government of Antioquia, decisions were made that will immediately allow execute activities that guarantee mobilitywhile studies and designs are carried out to implement a definitive solution.

“This is one of the critical points that we have in Antioquia, that we have been serving with our immediate reaction contracts, but that has not been easy to stabilize; That is why we have prioritized it and we will begin mitigation works so that there are no problems in mobility in this sector,” said the Secretary of Infrastructure, Luis Horacio Gallón Arango.
The authorities indicate that the immediate activities to be carried out involve the installation of pipe to give continuity to the flow of water from the ditch, preventing its crossing towards the lower slope, and the repair of the rolling surface with milled material.

In the short term, two existing culverts will be replaced between the critical point and the La Cuba ravine, and the construction of lined slopes will be carried out to prevent erosion of the lower slope.
