The Chancellor of the Republic, Yván Gil, reported that Venezuela and India held the Fifth Round of Political Consultations in New Delhi, in an environment of constructive dialogue and shared vision.
In the publication on its Telegram channel, it is stated that the meeting was led by Deputy Minister Tatiana Pugh Moreno and the Secretary for East Asia of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of India, Periasamy Kumaran.
Both delegations highlighted the emerging role of India and Venezuela in the new multipolar world order and the importance of strengthening cooperation from the global south.
They reviewed key issues such as energy, trade, food security, science and technology, health and the pharmaceutical sector, agreeing to move forward towards the prompt installation of the Joint Commission.
Venezuela denounced the aggressions of the Trump administration and reaffirmed the unity and resistance of the Venezuelan people under the leadership of President Nicolás Maduro.
The parties agreed to expand coordination in multilateral forums and strengthen the strategic alliance between both nations.
