Two operations against international drug trafficking drugs They allowed two kilograms of methamphetamine to be seized at the “José Martí” International Airport, according to what General Customs reported today on their social networks.
The operation made it possible to find the drugs that were hidden in six baseball bats, according to the first vice chief of Customs, William Pérez González, reported from X.
Both operations involve 4 passengers.
Pérez González reported that the operation is the result of joint work between Customs officials and the Specialized Anti-Drug Confrontation Body and is due to the “intensified action that is being developed in the face of the scourge of drugs.”
He recognized “the expertise, audacity and dedication of the Customs and Anti-Drug Agency officials in this combat” that on the island is “fought with blood and fire from the firm conviction that we will maintain our policy of Zero Tolerance for Drugs.”
