“Today, once again, the Uruguayan people have before them an opportunity to rebel againsta blatant misrepresentation of reality. In the face of a lie that they want to impose on all of us to make us decide against the interest of the Uruguayan people themselves,” said Manini.
“One day a gaucho appears who is not a gaucho, another day an assaulted lady appears who appears not to have been assaulted, another day a priest appears who appears not to be a priest”expressed the senator in reference to the advertising campaign carried out by the Yes commission, both in the media and on social networks.
“Every day someone is on the networks, in the press and on the move saying the evils that this Law of Urgent Consideration can generate,” he said.
“Things are being imposed that are not real and that they are generating doubts in the peoplepeople who were determined and were very clear that this law was good, are beginning to have doubts after so many lies that are repeated,” said the leader of Cabildo Abierto.
