Failed logins, errors in payments and transfers, and intermittent services marked the day for thousands of users throughout the country.
News Colombia.
Since the early hours of this Wednesday, November 26, thousands of users found themselves unable to use Nequi. The application, one of the most used digital wallets in the country, presented interruptions that affected both access to the platform and basic day-to-day operations.
Reports began to circulate quickly on social networks: people who tried to access the app received an unavailability notice asking them to try again later.
Others, who managed to access after several attempts, could not complete transactions such as money transfers, recharges, PSE payments or withdrawals.

Official monitoring of the status of the service confirmed what users reported: most of the modules were faulty or worked intermittently. In the tool you could see alerts about the status of entering the application and the operation of essential transactions, all with interruption notices.
The best job there is #Colombia is in the @SFCsupervisor so lazy to work. @Nequi fall again and nothing happens to them. Not an exemplary sanction while thousands of Colombians are affected not only by Nequi, but also by @Bancolombia pic.twitter.com/oVZENRV0BH

Bancolombia, the entity responsible for Nequi, publicly acknowledged the situation and indicated that its technical team was already working to restore operation.
The communication, released through social networks, warned that “inconsistencies” could occur in transactions and recommended users wait while the problems were resolved.
Hey👋 We apologize. 🙏 We have intermittencies with some of our services but we are already working at full speed to be back to 100% soon. ✅ Try again in a while. We will surely be ready for you.💜

The cause of the failure and the estimated time for complete recovery are not yet known. Meanwhile, those who depend on the service for their daily payments continue to wait and constantly check the official Nequi status page to confirm if services are operational again.
