According to the organizers, the macro-region faces disjointed public management, infrastructure gaps and limitations to diversify its sources of income. Added to this is weak institutional governance that affects the ability to execute projects and consolidate public-private alliances. However, they highlighted that the area has high potential in circular economy, carbon capture and ecosystem entrepreneurship.
The CEC Peru 2025 will seek to identify public and private investments pending execution, as well as sustainable projects that exceed S/ 3 billion in the region. The exchange of good business practices and a space for coordination between the public, private and academic sectors will also be promoted, with a view to strengthening the Junín 2050 vision.
The congress program includes the participation of the constitutional president of Peru, José Enrique Jeri Oré, ministers of State, representatives of CONFIEP, PROMPERÚ, PROINVERSIÓN and PROFAONAPE, as well as directors of business chambers, universities and mining companies such as Volcan and Chinalco.
