Analyst Orta foresees possible diplomatic resolution between Venezuela and the US.

The lawyer and political analyst, Johel Orta stated that, according to his criteria, the current conflict between Venezuela and the United States could have a diplomatic resolution, as he indicated during an interview on the program “Into the air”, which transmits Venezolana de Televisión (VTV).

“I have proposed for weeks, I would say, for months, that this conflict will have a diplomatic resolution,” Orta stated. «Venezuela, to through his chancellery, He has done what he should do, which is not responding to any aggression,” he added.

Likewise, he pointed out that Caracas wishes that “microphone diplomacy effectively ceases,” and that the president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro; receive a positive response to his calls for dialogue from his US counterpart, Donald Trump.

Orta also expressed his belief that the war-mongering policy of the Secretary of State, Marco Rubio, will be defeated by the diplomatic stance of the US special envoy, Richard Grenell, “dand so we will have a narrow of hands between both leaders,” he alleged.

«Venezuelans have always had a policy of peace […] after of that bloody War of Independence and after of one further bloody still Federal War, we have a clear awareness that we have to always seek peace,” said the analyst, who noted that 92% of the citizens of the People’s Power aspire to a peaceful solution to the current confrontation.

“Because it’s nothing further Venezuela, “It is a regional issue,” he continued. «Venezuela means also the hinge between North and South America, is a geographical position brutally important and strategic for global geopolitics.” He extended, in addition to remembering the strategic alliances of the South American nation with nations such as China, Russia, Türkiye, Iran and India, “And then it is no longer so easy to confront each other,” he argued. It ended by elevating the role of the rising multipolarity, given the decline of the US as the sole global hegemon.
