Maduro assures that the country is experiencing a “decisive situation” and that it is “forbidden to fail”

Nicolás Maduro

“If the country demands, the country will have our lives, if necessary,” said Nicolás Maduro, while asking the members of the FAN and all Venezuelans to give 10 times more to defend the national territory.

Nicolás Maduro assured this Tuesday, November 25, that the country faces a “decisive situation for its existence” as a republic and said that it is “forbidden to fail” in the defense of the nation against threats from the United States, which in his opinion does not fight against drug trafficking, but rather seeks a change of regime.

He indicated that in the current context “there are no excuses for anyone,” whether civil, political, military or police, since the “homeland demands the greatest effort and sacrifice.”

“If the country demands, the country will have our lives, if necessary”he expressed from the Fuerte Tiuna Military Academy after a march rejecting US actions.

Maduro asked the members of the National Armed Forces (FAN) and Venezuelans to demand “10 times more” to defend every inch of the territory against any threat, “no matter where it comes from.”

This Tuesday, November 25, marches were held in different cities of the country to reject the military deployment that Donald Trump’s administration maintains in the Caribbean. Nicolás Maduro was accompanied in Caracas by Diosdado Cabello, Minister of the Interior, Justice and Peace; the vice president, Delcy Rodríguez; the president of the National Assembly, Jorge Rodríguez, the Minister of Defense, Vladimir Padrino López.

These mobilizations occurred just one day after the United States designated the Cartel of the Suns as a terrorist organization.
