On the occasion of commemorating the Bicentennial of the 200 years of the Delivery of the Sword of Peru to the Liberator Simón Bolívarthe General Staff of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (Fanb) held a meeting where the progress of the Ayacucho Plan 2024-2030 of the military institution was reviewed, which is the guarantee of national independence and sovereignty.
The Minister for Defense, Vladimir Padrino López, published an audiovisual on the social network Instagram where he highlighted that they are working for emancipation and for the people of Venezuela.
«This sword will remain drawn to defend our social guarantees, the stability of the people and defend national sovereignty from any threat, intended aggression that wants to be placed on Venezuelan territory.
He noted that they have been reviewing the readiness levels, the balance of the independence exercises and the successful results of the Fourth National Popular Consultation that took place on Sunday, November 23, in which the Fanb was always accompanying the people of Venezuela.
He reiterated that true direct, revolutionary and leading democracy, enshrined in the Constitution, was demonstrated in the national territory.
It should be noted that the Ayacucho Plan represents a historic opportunity to transform, strengthen and project the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (Fanb) in the midst of any situation.
According to the military chief, this roadmap will allow the development of strategic capabilities and the consolidation of the military power of the Homeland in the 21st century.
Ayacucho Plan underway from 2024
The Ayacucho Plan 2024-2030 was approved in December 2024 during the commemoration of the 200 years of the Battle of Ayacucho, considered a milestone in Latin American independence.
President Nicolás Maduro presented it as a project to deepen the nationalist, anti-imperialist and Bolivarian military revolution, with the aim of strengthening the ranks of the Fanb.
