The magazine specialized in finance Euromoney awarded the Reserve Bank as “Best transactional bank of the Dominican Republic” in 2025, for its innovation in products and services and the excellent results obtained in operations related to technological transactions.
When evaluating the award, the executive president of the financial institution, Leonardo Aguilerasaid the distinction reflects the commitment of the bank in its constant renovation and modernization to offer high quality service to its extensive clientele.
“He Reserve Bank will continue to strengthen its technological structure to stay at the forefront in operations that respond to user needs, offering security and a wide diversity of transactional options,” he stressed.
Valued aspects
To award the award, Euromoney took into account the financial performance and growth of the Bank, its innovation in products and services, technology, digitalization, creative solutions and impact on the customer experience.
Also, he evaluated the policies of social sustainability of the banking entity, technological infrastructuredigital services, security and regulatory compatibility, as well as its operating capacity, customer service and scalability.
The European publication, based in London, recognizes in the category of ““Best transactional bank” the excellence of the global industry transactional banking.
This includes banks, fintechsneobanks and technology providers that demonstrate innovationleadership and results in areas such as cash management, payments, trade finance and related technologies.

This award is added to five others awarded this same year by Euromoney to Banreservas.
These are:
- Best Digital Bank from the Dominican Republic
- Best Bank of Latin America in Social Responsibility and Corporate
- Best Bank from the Dominican Republic
- Best Bank for Caribbean SMEs
- Best Bank for SMEs in the Dominican Republic.
So far this year, the Bank has also been recognized by other international and local entities for their achievements in areas such as business, technology, services and social responsibility.
The most recent award was Co-Responsible Awardgranted in Spainfor promoting initiatives of financial inclusion that benefit people with disabilities and promote a transformation through their program “Banreservas accessible”.
At the local level, Banreservas also got five certifications in 3RS Sustainability (reduce, reuse and recycle resources) 2025, all with a gold mention, awarded to the same number of its offices.
This type of recognition is made to companies that comply with policies that promote the integration of circular economy in its daily operations, among other aspects related to the work life.
