Agents of the Anti-Corruption Directorate (Dircocor) of the National Police of Peru, headed by General Luis Lira Limo, knew the whereabouts of Oscar Acunabrother of César Acuña, until the night of Tuesday, November 18, hours before the operation for the Frigoinca case.
According to the information collected by La República, PNP agents followed every step of Óscar Acuña through observation, surveillance and monitoring techniques, the so-called Ovise that is carried out on each of those investigated, hours before an arrest warrant is issued.
What happened? Sources close to the PNP informed this medium that everything was ready for the capture of César Acuña’s brother; However, an information leak prevented the objective from being met.
Undercover agents had two of Óscar Acuña’s homes in Trujillo under surveillance: one located in the Alboreda urbanization and another on Valle Riestra street, in the San Fernando urbanization.
The agents also followed every step of Óscar Acuña, including meetings with people close to Alianza para el Progreso and other family meetings.

Precisely, on Tuesday, November 18, ‘Osquitar’, as César Acuña’s brother was known, was in the Carlos Martínez de Compañón park, located in the San Andrés urbanization in the city of Trujillo, around 6:20 in the afternoon.
Acuña, who was wearing a red polo shirt, blue jeans and sneakers, was sitting at one of the tables at the Bruale store next to the park with a person of approximately 35 years old, identified as Jordan B Mendoza, who was helping him get around. Six young people whose ages ranged between 25 and 30 also participated in that brief meeting.

It was at that moment when he received a phone call that alerted him about the operation against him, as reported by the Buena Pepa web portal and corroborated by this medium.
The same sources specify that, after making brief coordination with the person who assisted him, Jordan B Mendoza, a vehicle arrived at the premises to pick him up and, immediately afterwards, left the place in an unknown direction.
The tip was not only for Óscar Acuña, but also the information about the operation reached Aníbal Morillo Arquero, former general manager of the Trujillo Health sector.

This was more evident when the PNP and the Prosecutor’s Office arrived at Morillo’s home in the early hours of the morning and he opened the door of his house without any surprise. APP sources stated that at first Morillo wanted to escape; However, they convinced him to stay during the operation, given that he would receive all the support of the party and César Acuña.

In this regard, the Prosecutor’s Office sent a request to the National Police of Peru “very urgently” with the purpose of intensifying the capture of Óscar Acuña Peralta, given the possible leak of information from the PNP itself.
The measure was ordered by the provincial deputy prosecutor Carlos Daniel Meza Fernández and addressed to General Luis Alberto Lira Limo, head of the Dircocor.
