The boss of Minister council, Hannibal Torresparticipated this Monday in an official activity in the city of Abancay and from there he ruled on the admission in Congress of the vacancy motion against the president peter castle.
During his speech, Torres Vásquez pointed out that the Castillo Terrones administration is “despised” by a sector of the opposition in Congress.
“This government is now despised by the right and extreme right that governed Peru for 200 years of republican life”, said the prime minister.

“All of us who are here for that political class that now wants to vacate the president, none of us who are here have the conditions to be president because we do not meet the racial characteristics that they probably have.”, he added.
Likewise, the head of the Ministerial Cabinet remarked that “here we all need each other” and emphasized that “the people need the Government and the Government of the people.”
Vacancy motion admitted for debate
This Monday morning, the plenary session of the Congress of the Republic admitted the vacancy motion against Pedro Castillo for debate.
76 congressmen voted in favor of the vacancy motion, while 41 did so against and only one abstention was counted.
In addition, it was agreed that the plenary session for the debate and vote on the vacancy motion will be on Monday, March 28 at 3:00 pm at the proposal of the President of Congress. This approach was approved by 86 votes in favor, 21 against and 10 abstentions.
