Authorities identify 18 anarchist groups in 14 Mexican states

Radical tendency

Of the 18 groups, seven are identified as the most violent, which carry out “painting on government, public and private buildings, distributing pamphlets in marches, setting fires, detonating explosive devices and firearms.”

These groups are:

The Preparatory Libertarian Committee #3, the Preparatory Libertarian Committee #7 and the CCH Oriente Preparatory Libertarian Committee, which are grouped in the Anarchist Student Coordinator.

They are also identified as very violent Okupache, Instinto Salvaje, Cruz Negra Anarquista and Anarquistas de México.

Since 2014, anarchist groups have been identified in 14 entities in the country.

The pacifists

The other 11 groups are identified as “pacifist”, since they propose the “total rejection of violence and the creation of a society organized under anarchist principles.”

These are: Acampada Revolución, the Colectivo Autónomo Magonista, the Eastern Front, the Anarcho Communist Group, the Independent Collective, the Black Flag Group, the Black Bloc Mexico, Libertarian Youth, the Internationalist Revolutionary Student Movement, the Red Front, Aurora Insurrecta and the Red Bloc.
