Federal deputy Erika Hilton (PSOL-SP) sent the minister of the Federal Supreme Court (STF), Alexandre de Moraes, this Sunday (23), a criminal report against federal deputy Nikolas Ferreira (PL-MG).
In the complaint, the parliamentarian reports that, according to images released by a TV station, the deputy from Minas Gerais was caught using his own cell phone while visiting the former president, on Friday (21), at Jair Bolsonaro’s residence, where, since August this year, he was under precautionary house arrest.
Erika Hilton claims that the use of a cell phone, under these conditions, disobeys the decision in the petition (PET 14.129/DF) which, among other precautionary measures, prohibited the use of cell phones by third parties, in the presence of the former president.
Nikolas’ visit took place the day before Bolsonaro used a soldering iron on his electronic ankle bracelet, which led to his pre-trial detention being ordered due to a concrete risk of escape.
Escape attempt
In publication, in its social networkErika Hilton says that Nikolas Ferreira would have instigated and assisted Jair Messias Bolsonaro in an alleged escape attempt.
“The conduct fails to comply with a court order and points to possible instigation or assistance in the evasion plan,” says the post.
As a measure to preserve evidence of alleged instigation or assistance, the deputy requests, in the document, that the deputy’s cell phone be searched and seized.

The parliamentarian claimed that “there was no prior communication of any restriction on the use of cell phones, neither by the Judiciary nor by the agents responsible for supervision, during the visit”.
In the clarification note on the episode of the visit to the former president, he classified the use of the drone to film the former president’s residence as a “serious invasion of privacy” in a “private environment”. Nikolas Ferreira states that the attitude is “totally incompatible with any minimum standard of journalistic ethics”.
Finally, he says that the episode reveals more about the “invasive conduct of the broadcaster” than about the conduct of those who were filmed, according to the parliamentarian, clandestinely.
Hallucination and certain paranoia
Bolsonaro was preventively arrested by the Federal Police (PF), this Saturday (22), after Moraes’ order. In the decision, the STF minister cited a possible risk of escape due to Bolsonaro’s attempt to violate the electronic ankle monitor and the vigil called by his son, senator Flávio Bolsonaro, near the house where the former president was under house arrest.
On Friday (21), the day before his arrest, the former president used welding to try to open the electronic ankle bracelet, which generated an alert to the State Secretariat for Penitentiary Administration of the Federal District (Seap), responsible for monitoring the equipment.
In the early afternoon of this Sunday (23), when participating in a custody hearing via videoconference, in Brasília, the former president reported that he had a “hallucination” that there was something wired in the electronic ankle bracelet he uses by court order. For this reason, he would have tried to open the cover of the monitoring device.
Jair Bolsonaro responded to the court that he had a “certain paranoia” from Friday (21) to Saturday (22), due to medications he was taking, prescribed by different doctors. He interpreted that these interacted inappropriately, leading him to touch the ankle bracelet with a soldering iron.
