The coach of the U-17 women’s team, Simone Jatobá, said that Brazil needs to maintain concentration and rhythm in its next games in the quadrangular final of the South American Championship to reach the classification for the World Cup.
The statement was given after the 8-0 victory over Chile, last Sunday (13) at the Charrua stadium, in Montevideo (Uruguay), in the first match for the final stage of the competition.
“We still need to work a lot. The next games will be decisive, because the opponents always act with great force against Brazil. We need to keep our game, concentration and rhythm, that’s what will make the difference. We train well, we are prepared and they have football, so that’s what will make the difference”, declared Simone.
The next appointment of the Brazilian team in the competition will be on Wednesday (16), when it will face Paraguay at 4:30 pm (Brasilia time).
The South American gives three spots for the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup, which is scheduled to be played in October, in India.
