The Strategic Operational Commander of the Bolivarian National Amada Force (Ceofanb), G/J Domingo Hernández Lárez, reported that military personnel neutralized a hostile aircraft in the state of Bolívar.
He explained that this operation, carried out as part of the Bolivarian Shield Roraima 2025, left two subjects detained, one of Colombian nationality and the other Venezuelan.
The subjects were identified as Andrés Guillermo Carvajal Díaz, No. 93.295.872, of Colombian nationality (pilot) and Jesús Alberto Espinoza Arrizaga, CIV-23.705.547, (Venezuelan and pilot), Hernández Lárez published on his Instagram account.
Likewise, he described that the aircraft “is a fixed wing, Cesna 210 model with the initials XB-NQJ (covered so as not to be detected by radars). Furthermore, they did not have a flight plan or authorization from the National Institute of Civil Aeronautics (Inac) and after the location, they made an emergency landing in the indigenous community of Kamarata, Bolívar state.
“At the time of the inspection, the aircraft had a modified co-pilot door and tanks with higher performance, which is why it is presumed that it was a vehicle prepared for drug trafficking,” he explained.

In the post, the Ceofanb commander explained that in the procedure the seizure of material of criminalistic interest was carried out, which belonged to the detainees.
«The following material of criminalistic interest was seized: three Garmin brand GPS, black; an Iridium brand satellite phone model 9555N, black; 18,590,000 Colombian pesos; an iPhone brand cell phone model 17 pro max, silver color; a Xiaomi brand cell phone model Redmi 14C, metallic blue color; a Samsung cell phone model SM-A165M/DS, gray; a Samsung cell phone model Galaxi A07, metallic gray and an Icom VHF radio, black,” he said.
Venezuela territory of peace
Hernández Lárez highlighted that Venezuela is a territory of peace, where authorities work actively in the fight against drug trafficking.
He ratified that Venezuelan territory will not be a “platform for the scourge of drug trafficking.”
In this sense, he explained that a total of 26 aircraft have been disabled during the year 2025 and 417 procedures have been notified to the Public Ministry (MP).
