Rescuers from the Government of Santa Cruz traveled to Vallegrande to participate in the rescue of a lifeless body found in the mountains. Community members from Palma Amarilla spotted a body in an advanced state of decomposition and warned the authorities about it.
The Rescue Unit of the Governoratetook care on Sunday to Vallegrande. From there they went into the mountains and walked for two hours until they reached the outskirts of the community. Yellow Palms pointed out by the community members.
The identity of the deceased person has not yet been determined. “The police did the expert opinion and they will give the respective report,” said Juan Padilla, one of the four rescuers who participated in the operation.
