Executives André Felipe de Oliveira Seixas Maia and Henrique Souza Silva Peretto, arrested in Operation Compliance Zero, which investigates allegations of financial fraud at Banco Master, were released. They were released by the Federal Police in the early hours of this Friday (21). Both were under temporary arrest. 
Both André Felipe and Henrique Souza are owners of companies that would have participated in the fraud carried out by Master.
Daniel Vorcaro, owner of Master, was denied a request for habeas corpus and still stuck in the PF Superintendency prison, in the Lapa neighborhood, in São Paulo.
In a statement, Maia’s defense says that the businessman did not commit any illegal conduct and will cooperate with the investigations.
“He is free, maintaining the presumption of innocence that guides all investigative procedures, and reflecting the absence of elements that would justify any restrictive measure”, say the lawyers.

Understand the case of Banco Master
Since 2024, the Federal Police have been investigating the issuance of false credit titles by institutions that are part of the National Financial System. Banco Master is the main target of the operation.
You investigators estimate that the fraud may have generated R$12 billion in false credit operations, loan simulation and negotiation of credit portfolios with other banks, including the Regional Bank of Brasília (BRB)which is also investigated.
The president of BRB, Paulo Henrique Costa, and the bank’s director of Finance and Controllership, Dario Oswaldo Garcia Júnior, were removed from their positions at the bank.
