More than 200 organizations, search groups and victims expressed their concern and their “strongest condemnation” of the resolution of the Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation (SCJN), which endorsed the disappearance of the minimum fund for comprehensive reparation and care for victims of crime.
Last Tuesday, the country’s highest court refused to declare unconstitutional the 2020 reform to section 1 of article 132 of the General Victims Law, which eliminated the guarantee of a minimum resource for victim care.
