The security cabinet of the Government of Mexico yesterday reported operations in Sinaloa in which a clandestine drug laboratory and eight narco warehouses with chemical substances, which the authorities valued at more than 7,469 million pesos.
In their most recent report on anti-crime operations nationwide, the authorities reported that the attack on drug trafficking took place last Wednesday in Culiacán and Badiraguato, in the towns of Cueva Gacha, Canamaca, El Cedrito, Presa Vinoramas, El Guayabo, Bacata, Los Cedritos, Las Amargosas and El Vizcaíno.
Elements of the Mexican Army located and disabled a clandestine laboratory and eight concentration areas of various materials for the production of methamphetamine; They also secured 8,147 liters and 1,065 kilos of chemicals, 19 organic synthesis reactors, 24 distillers and two centrifuges.
In Culiacán, José Socorro “N” was arrested, identified as the leader of a criminal cell in Tijuana and considered one of the main generators of violence in Baja California. On the Culiacán-Navolato highway, security personnel responded to a complaint about armed men in a hotel and captured 14 individuals, three of them foreigners; They also seized a machine gun, a rifle, 12 long weapons, 17 magazines and 555 cartridges.
In the town of Huixiopa, in Badiraguato, 1,176 cartridges, 90 kilos of marijuana and 10 improvised explosive devices were seized. In Guanajuato, a property was searched in which a person was arrested and 10 long weapons, 21 magazines, 180 cartridges and three vehicles were seized, two of them reported stolen.
In Tabasco, they arrested three people and seized 55 doses of marijuana, 40 of methamphetamine, a short gun, eight useful cartridges and a magazine; In Tlaxcala, elements apprehended five people in a warehouse with two tractor-trailers and three dry boxes.
Elements from the Secretariat of Security and Citizen Protection, National Guard, Secretariat of National Defense, Secretariat of the Mexican Navy, Attorney General’s Office and state and municipal institutions participated in the actions.
