Santo Domingo.- The Dominican Institute of Meteorology (Indomet) reported that this Friday they will present increased cloudiness and scattered showersaccompanied by possible thunderstorms during the morning hours, especially in areas near the Atlantic coastline.
According to the entity, the rains will become more frequent in the afternoon and early evening about provinces like Hato Mayor, La Romana, San Pedro de Macorís, Monte Plata, Sánchez Ramírez, Samaná, Santiago, La Vega, Monseñor Nouel, San Cristóbal, Santo Domingo, Azua, Santiago Rodríguez, San Juan, Elías Piña and Baoruco.

Indomet announced that, during the early hours of this Saturday, they could register isolated showers in localities of north, southeast and center of the countrydue to the drag of humidity generated by the northeast wind.
However, as the day progresses, a high pressure system the weather pattern will dominate, favoring conditions mostly sunny with isolated clouds in most of the national territory.
They just wait weak and isolated showers in areas close to mountainous areas, especially in Monseñor Nouel, La Vega, Santiago, San Cristóbal, Azua, San José de Ocoa, Baoruco, Independencia and Barahonauntil the early hours of the night.
Cooler temperatures at night and early morning
The organization explained that, due to the transition of late autumn and the proximity of winter, temperatures will remain slightly hot in the daybut more pleasant and fresh at night and early morningespecially in mountainous areas and inland valleys.
Likewise, the presence of fog episodes in the early hours, as a result of the entry of fresh air from the northeast associated with the occasional passage of frontal systems.
