President Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo yesterday reiterated the information from the Secretariats of Foreign Affairs (SRE) and Security and Citizen Protection (SSPC), that no instance of the Mexican government has collaborated to prevent an alleged attempted attack in Mexican territory against Einat Kranz Neiger, Israel’s ambassador in the country.

In her morning conference, she was asked about the diplomat’s statements, who asserted a couple of weeks ago that the threat was real, which, according to international news agencies, is attributed to Iran. Given this, President Sheinbaum Pardo stated: “I am not going to enter into a debate with the ambassador. We are guided by internal information, and neither the Ministry of Public Security nor any other entity of the Mexican government participated.”
