Artistic intervention and tree planting in schools in Cuchilla Grande
Last Monday afternoon, an outstanding educational and community activity was carried out at School No. 33 of Cuchilla Grande, where teacher Walter Fernández, together with a group of students, carried out a colorful artistic intervention on the center wall.
Additionally, the students participated in a native tree plantation, integrating art and environmental care in the same day at School 50.
The students of the Gloria Estadez School of Treinta y Tres and the Liceo Nº 2 department were also part of the intervention, contributing creativity and joining the collective work.
The images shared reflect the enthusiasm and dedication with which the activity was carried out, which many of the participants carry out “from the heart,” according to neighbor Carlos Duera, a member of the Friends of Heritage group.
In parallel, the activity was extended to School No. 50, where a plantation of native trees was also carried out, reinforcing the educational commitment to nature and the construction of greener school spaces.
Teachers and students received recognition from the community for their artistic and environmental contribution, in a day that united education, solidarity and ecological awareness.
