The operation, which would represent a strategic move in its food portfolio, is still subject to compliance with the conditions established in the contract, as well as the corresponding regulatory approvals.
If the purchase is completed, Alicorp would officially enter the competitive snack market, expanding its presence in the Food category, where it already leads with emblematic and highly preferred brands among consumers. The company seeks to complement its portfolio with high-turnover products and growing national and international demand.
Inka Crops, with more than 25 years in the Peruvian market, has established itself as a reference company in the production of various snacks.
Its portfolio includes recognized brands such as Inka Chips and Inka Corn, which not only have a presence in supermarkets in the country, but are also exported to more than 25 destinations, including the United States, Ecuador and Chile. Its production capacity and development of innovative products has positioned it as one of the main exporters in the sector.
For its part, Procesadora Tropical plays a fundamental role in the value chain, being in charge of supplying raw materials for Inka Crops.
Its work model is closely linked to Peruvian agricultural producers, strengthening a network of suppliers that guarantees quality, traceability and sustainability at each stage of the process.
