Santo Domingo.- A trough will cause downpours from moderate to strong this Wednesday in several provinces of the country, the Dominican Institute of Meteorology (Indomet) reported on Tuesday afternoon.
According to the agency, the rains will be moderate in the early hours of Wednesday, but will increase in intensity in the afternoon due to the direct impact of the phenomenon.
The downpours will have the greatest impact on La Altagracia, El Seibo, Samaná, María Trinidad Sánchez, Espaillat, Puerto Plata, Santo Domingo, San Pedro de Macorís, Monseñor Nouel, San José de Ocoa, Azua, La Vega, Baoruco and San Juan, as well as in the National District.

Indomet also indicated that temperatures will continue to decrease in much of the territory due to the entry of cooler air into the Caribbean.
