The General Directorate of Information and Defense of Social Security Affiliates (DIDA) reported that 26,167 people with different types of pensions approved by the Executive Branch do not yet enjoy them because they have not formalized their inclusion in the list of State pensioners of the General Directorate of Retirements and Pensions (DGJP) of the Ministry of Finance, according to data updated as of November 2025.
Elias Baezdirector of the DIDAindicated that the list of these beneficiaries was provided by the General Directorate of Retirements and Pensions, at the request of the DIDAwith the objective of identifying people with approved pensions who have not yet completed the process of joining the pensioner payroll and starting monthly payments.
Báez explained that among the people identified are beneficiaries of solidarity pensionsdue to length of service and pensions from the former Dominican Social Security Institute (IDSS), who already have the right granted through decrees of the Executive Branch, Law of the National Congress or resolution of the IDSS approved by the DGJP.

The official reported that if the beneficiaries appear on the list, they must appear at the offices of the General Directorate of Retirements and Pensions (DGJP) with your identity and electoral card (original and copy), a 2×2 photography.
