The ministry intends to provide permanent support to the university, afin order to guarantee the transparent operation of the election process and respect for the rights of all members of the university community.

Among the first actions indicated is the intervention of the Subdirectorate of Inspection and Surveillance of the Ministry, as a mechanism to follow up on events that affect order at the university. The educational portfolio announced that a coordination mechanism inter-institutional, which will include national and departmental entities, to ensure the reestablishment of academic and administrative order at the university.
It is specified that the ministry requires the presentation of a detailed report on the modification and compliance with the requirements that allow the election of the rectorwith the objective of verifying that the process conforms to the current regulatory framework. Additionally, it requests the opening of an “official record of facts,” where complaints from members of the university community will be documented —students, professors and officials—who have been victims of actions that disrupt coexistence or the normality of academic and administrative functions.
