two young people accused of participating in the shooting death of the former agent of the Criminal Investigation Department (Dicrim), Joel Donatilio Torres Pichardo, which occurred during a robbery in the El Ejido sector, in the province Santiago, they surrendered the weekend to the authorities of the National Police.
The detainees were identified as Junior Miguel Antonio Polanco, from 21 yearsand a young man known only as Gregory.
Both they surrendered separately at authoritiesafter their respective homes were raided.
According to the preliminary reportthe detainees confessed their participation in the incident. Polanco declared that he was the one driving the motorcycle used during the robbery in which the former agent was killed last Sunday, November 10.
While Gregory would have stated that it was he who shot against Torres Pichardo when he is resisted the assault.
Third party involved
The report adds that the detainees informed the authorities about the participation of a third party involvedidentified only as “Jhonatan“, who allegedly possesses the money and the gun stolen from the victim.
