Stephany Vega, a 32-year-old young woman who currently holds the position of advisor to the Senior Management of the PCM, is identified as the friend and confidant of the President José Jerí. A Panorama report revealed that, in the last four years, his life changed dramatically since he first entered Congress and, later, the Executive Branch.
According to Sunday’s investigation, Vega acquired an Audi car in 2023; A year later, in 2024, he bought a BMW valued at approximately S/ 60 thousand; and in 2025 he acquired an apartment with a garage for 120 thousand dollars in a district of Lima.

Vega’s promotion dates back to 2021. On that date he was a law student and joined Congressman José Jerí as an assistant with a salary of 1,500 soles.
Over time, he went on to play a key role in the Budget Commission, where his name began to gain presence. Later, with the accession of Jerí to the presidency of Congresshis remuneration increased to 16 thousand soles per month, more than ten times what he received at the beginning of his parliamentary career.
The report also indicates that Vega appears as co-owner of a bar that is promoted on social networks as a resounding success. However, according to public documentation cited by Panorama, the company was established with just 20 thousand soles of capital together with two partners – 18-year-old twin sisters -, without considering the costs of implementation, payroll, suppliers and services, which has raised questions.

The images broadcast by the Sunday also show her on luxurious vacations, such as a trip to Dubai where she appears riding camels, an unusual destination for a recent graduate.
Party sources indicate that his relationship with leader Patricia Li would be “tense.” In the Palace, on the other hand, they assure that Li’s influence has decreased and that the person who would have direct access to President Jerí would be precisely Stephany Vega.
