Officials assigned to the Aragua Municipal Delegation of Barcelona of the Cicpc arrested the brothers Luis Alfredo Rojas Vargas (44) and Juan Rafael Rojas Vargas (38), dedicated to the commission of fraudulent procedures and illegal management, affecting platforms such as Patria, Saime, Seniat and banking entities.
The information was provided by the Director of the Scientific, Criminal and Criminalistic Investigation Corps, Commissioner Douglas Rico on his account on the social network Instagram.
The Rojas Vargas brothers were arrested in the Sir Arthur Mac Gregor municipality (El Chaparro), Anzoátegui, from where they used their knowledge in digital matters to make illicit profits, offering a wide range of fraudulent services to the detriment of the assets of the Venezuelan State, where they falsified documents to obtain users and passwords for the platforms of the Patria System, Saime and Seniat, says the report published by the scientific police.
Among the “services” offered by the Rojas Vargas brothers are the fraudulent activation of fingerprints to obtain subsidized gasoline, carrying out false procedures for driver’s licenses, vehicle certificates, RIF, falsification of identity cards, management of irregular permits for the transfer of bovine animals, mental health certificates, using the identification of a real Psychologist, among other documents related to financial entities.
Generally, the subjects used the identities of elderly people, some of them deceased, collecting a large part of the commission and leaving money for the relatives of the inert.
The detainees were placed under the orders of the Public Ministry.
