Refidomsa obtains license to re-export petroleum derivatives

The Dominican Oil Refinery (Refidomsa) got his first Re-export License of products derived from oilissued by the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and MSMEs (MICM) through Resolution 443-2025.

Through a press release, Refidomsa explained that this authorization will allow export fuel and other derivatives of oil to international marketsstrengthening its marketing capacity, expanding its regional presence and generating new income opportunities for both the company and the Dominican State.

  • The license, granted by the Minister of Industry, Commerce and MSMEs, Víctor -Ito- Bisonó, empowers Refidomsa to perform re-export operations through transport units authorized by the MICM, under compliance with the highest safety standardsquality and transparency, according to the laws that regulate hydrocarbon trade.

Legal guidelines

The document establishes that the authorization is framed in the legal guidelines of the MICM, limiting its scope to duly approved re-export operations, in accordance with the regulations that guarantee the safety of the national energy market.

“This license represents a transcendental step for Refidomsa and for the country. It reflects confidence in our management and the company’s ability to compete in international markets under the highest standards of quality and compliance,” said Samuel Pereyra, president of the Board of Directors of Refidomsa.
