#InPhotos: Protesters and police clash in the Zócalo of CDMX

Throughout the route, the protesters walked among banners, photographs, slogans and symbols that summarized the feeling of the day: the urgency to stop the violence and the demand for responses from the authorities.

However, upon arriving at the capital’s Zócalo, violent events were reported, after a group of hooded people managed to tear down the fences that protect the National Palace, leaving multiple people injured and some people detained.
