The general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (Psuv), Diosdado Cabello, participated in the mobilization that took place from the state of La Guaira, where the swearing-in of the Comprehensive Base Bolivarian Committees was carried out, in which he highlighted that the entity is a town of men and women of work, as well as of peace.
The Guaireño people reaffirm their commitment to community organization and the construction of participatory and leading democracy, he highlighted.
During his intervention, he indicated that in these three months in which the campaign against Venezuela by the US has intensified, the head of state, Nicolás Maduro, has ordered preparation for the defense of sovereignty and national territory through movements, training, organization in perfect civic-military-police-popular union in which the component of the PSUV structure is now integrated, to protect Venezuela.
He pointed out that despite this, the Venezuelan president is victorious “for a simple reason, the unity that we have been able to develop, because when the country is besieged by an enemy as desperate as imperialism, we are all besieged, this does not imply an attack on a small sector, but on all Venezuelans.” At the same time, he indicated that every time imperialism acts, the least it has is scruples, “the least it has is right, the least it has is feelings, they care absolutely nothing.”
Likewise, he called on the people of Venezuela to be ready for any action against the country, to defend the Homeland whenever necessary.
In that same order, he noted that President Maduro called a “bold” day for the party’s bases to make decisions, as well as organize said structure to confront any enemy.
He described the activity called by the head of state as a historic day, and stressed that this process constitutes a lesson for those who intend to lead from the office, since it reaffirms that the true strength of the revolution is found in the organized people, in the streets and communities.
He recalled that in the national territory there are 240,000 streets, which represents 240,000 Comprehensive Base Bolivarian Committees committed to peace, revolution and independence.
On the other hand, Cabello recognized the work that fishermen do at sea, pointing out that they are always the ones who make their rounds to inform, monitor and detect where the school of fish is. “One sees that with pride because this is a humble town.”
