President participates in a prayer for peace in Venezuela with religious leaders

The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, receives this Friday, in the Simón Bolívar room of the Miraflores Complex, religious leaders of the country, as part of a prayer meeting for peace in the country.

During the meeting, which took place in the Simón Bolívar Hall, of the Miraflores Palace, in Caracas, the head of State stated that the power of prayer of all the Venezuelan people and all the peoples of Our America must be united.

In addition, he addressed a message to believers in the United States: “To all the brothers of the Christian church in North America, let the bells of peace ring and not the drums of war, hatred and death.”

He sponsored miraculous and glorious days for all of Venezuela; for being a noble and hardworking people.

In this sense, he thanked all the religious leaders who participated in the Prayer Meeting for Peace in Venezuela, for asking God for the tranquility of the country and the well-being of all Venezuelans.

US churches unite in Christ

During his reflections, the head of state sent a special message to each church in the United States of America, to maintain union in Christ so that peace, understanding, harmony, and not hatred or war, reign in the world.

He recalled that, in the same facilities of the Miraflores Complex, on June 16, 2024, together with the people, he handed over the Nation, so that “the Lord Jesus Christ may bless it for now and forever.”

«The people of God, we are children of our Lord Jesus Christ. “We carry his strength, his truth and we follow his path,” President Maduro expressed with great feeling.

He specified that the world needs peace, because Christ came to earth to advocate peace, justice and equality for people. “Let us be the defenders and carry the flag of peace and harmony.”

For their part, several of the participants have expressed their good wishes for the peace of the nation, among them, Rogelio Suárez, who stated that Venezuela is a sacred territory that enjoys the leadership of a man like the National President.

Pastor Rogelio Suárez highlighted that Venezuela is a country of peace and blessing. “We all have a responsibility, not only with a nation called Venezuela, but before Jesus, who was sacrificed so that the people may reign. Venezuela is a territory of peace, not of war, and what has been sown through prayer will be a harvest of hope. We bless this country and the Venezuelan people, because we believe that it is a blessing in Christ and in the Lord Jesus.”

Also, the religious leader and academic of Kenya, David Edward Owuor, expressed that Venezuela is a wonderful nation to visit, because of the way its people demonstrate love for God. He commented that the Lord spoke to him about this country by revealing a prophecy before his arrival and related that on November 2 he had a dream in which God showed him how, in the midst of the threats that arose in the Caribbean Sea, Venezuela appeared as a territory of peace.

The activity has the participation of the deputy to the National Assembly (AN), Nicolás Ernesto Maduro Guerra, vice president of Religious Affairs of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV); the head of Government of Caracas, Nahum Fernández; the apostle Dan Suárez, president of the National Ministerial Board and Edgard Arteaga, vice minister of Religious Affairs and Cults of the Ministry of Popular Power for Interior Relations, Justice and Peace.
