Fernando Rospigliosi criticizes the PJ: "Amends the plan to Congress, TC, JNE and JNJ"

The interim president of Congress, Fernando Rospigliosihe questioned Judiciary after a judge ordered the reinstatement of Delia Espinoza as the nation’s prosecutor, despite the fact that the National Board of Justice has refused to apply the ruling. Given this, the parliamentarian considered that the Judiciary is the “only power of the State” that intervenes in decisions of autonomous bodies.

The suspended prosecutor of the nation would have given up attending this Thursday to try to be reinstated as the head of the Public Ministry.

“We are facing an unusual situation in which all these people, the caviar mafia, immediately turn to the Judiciary. (…) The National Board of Justice is the one that makes that decision [de reincorporar a Espinoza]”, he pointed out on Canal N.

The head of Parliament also referred to the case of Duberlí Rodríguez, who managed to obtain a judicial measure to order the National Elections Jury to register his political party.

“The Judiciary agrees with him and tries to modify the entire electoral process because a judge felt like interfering in something he cannot do,” Rsopigliosi questioned.

“The only Power of the State, there is no other, is the Judicial Power that amends the plan of the Congress of the Republic, because it does not apply laws that are in force, to the Constitutional Court, to the National Election Jury, to the National Board of Justice. This is unacceptable, Peru cannot continue like this, the laws are to be complied with,” he added.

The legislator considered that the JNJ is doing well by not abiding by the court ruling that orders the reinstatement of Espinoza, whom he attributed to having “done enormous damage” by affecting the anti-terrorism prosecutors’ offices.

“All this confrontation with the police, this destruction of the anti-terrorism prosecutor’s offices. This lady, the Anti-terrorism prosecutor’s offices merged them with the Human Rights prosecutor’s offices, (…) what they do is persecute the police and military and in this she has included the Anti-terrorism prosecutor’s office, which of course are not going to persecute terrorists (…) that is what Delia Espinoza did,” he asserted.
