Shooting at CCR Mao leaves two inmates injured

A incident occurred this Friday afternoon in the Mao Correction and Rehabilitation CenterValverde province, generated tension within the venue and left two injured inmates.

According to information obtained from inside the facility, several agents were on the roof of the prison while they heard multiple shotscausing worry between those deprived of liberty and service personnel.

The fact was confirmed for the prison authoritieswho said the inmates’ injuries were “minor.”

Alleged origin of the incident

Internal sources explained that the conflict would have started during a requisition processin which an agent allegedly tried to intervene with several inmates, which caused tension and resistance.

In an audio, one of the inmates said that apparently they were looking for a prisoner and “the situation arose.” He identified one of the wounded by the nickname “the Chinese”.

So far the identities of the injured inmates have not been revealed. Supposedly “el Chino” received medical attention. Nor have any details been offered about the number of agents involved or the exact origin of the funds. shots heard.
