After a slow agony, one of the alleged criminals died, an alleged member of the “Los Raqueteros de Cruceta” gang, who fought gunshots with the police last Tuesday night in the Tambogrande district, in Piura.
This is José Luis Palacios Rivas (23 years old), who suffered a gunshot wound to the left thigh and closed abdominal trauma (height of his stomach) and died last Wednesday night in the emergency area of the Sullana Support Hospital II.
In the first instance, along with his alleged accomplices, badly injured, he was evacuated to the Tambogrande health center, but due to his delicate state of health he was transferred by emergency in an ambulance to the Sullana hospital, under strict security measures.
Let us remember that Palacios Rivas was detained by the police in the middle of a crossfire and hellish shootout, when they tried to flee in a gray Chevrolet car, license plate P20316, after assaulting a couple, from whom they took the sum of a thousand soles, cell phones and other valuables.
The deceased was captured along with Luiyi Ademir Ruiz Aquino (23 years old), Brayan Alexander Ojeda Ojeda (25 years old) and Jesús David Domínguez Riofrio (24 years old) “Pimpollo”, members of the alleged gang “Los Raqueteros de Cruceta”, near the San Miguel Bajo sector, in the town center of Cruceta, towards Palomino.
The first two named were also injured by gunshots during the confrontation with the police, while the last one was detained by a group of ronderos when he tried to escape in the middle of the bushes and the darkness of the night.
Ruiz Aquino was diagnosed with “gunshot wound to the abdominal wall, with exposure of viscera, scalp and lumbar region wound,” who will undergo surgery in the next few hours, and Ojeda Ojeda presented “gunshot wound to the scalp.”
In the car, the police found four cell phones, three bunches of keys and a revolver with a wooden handle, with a loaded drum, with an eradicated brand and serial, and three fired cartridges and two unfired ammunition.
Meanwhile, the other two people remain detained at the Cruceta police station and will be investigated for the alleged crime of aggravated robbery.
